Talwar Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization registered under Section 80G (V) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, committed to empowering underserved communities through compassion, education, and sustainable development.
Founded in 1981, the Foundation traces its roots to the vision and selfless service of Late Shri O.N. Talwar, who began charitable work much earlier with a heartfelt mission to uplift girls living in the slum areas of R.K. Puram. What started as a small initiative driven by empathy soon evolved into a lifelong commitment to support girls facing extreme poverty, limited opportunities, and social neglect.
